“The Rajasthan Exploring the Heart retreat was a once in a lifetime, bucket list trip that I am so grateful to have experienced with Angela and Bram. Yoga for all-levels led by Angela prepared the body and the mind for presence each morning. Then exploring the cities - not just the postcard images, but the life of the locals, safely, filled my heart. I couldn't even rest my eyes in transit, there was so much to take in. Bram answered all questions about the culture, the food, geography and history, and provided books and resources to learn more. Then in the evenings, Angela grounded our group back into heart coherence with share circles, yin yoga, cacao ceremony, and more. My favorite part of the pilgrimage was simply being in community. The group for this retreat was so aligned in our desire to learn more about the culture, and in our desire to be kind and open-hearted to one another, that each meal's conversations were varied, exciting, and loving..”

Where do I begin. I have been practicing yoga for quite a bit and when I found out about Angela’s retreats I went on her instagram page and I did a zoom call with her about her Bali retreat in 2023 and this is what I can say since then. What you see on instagram and when you speak to her she makes you feel welcomed and loved. Like you’ve known her for years. She is YOGA... how she is, her attention to detail to her classes, meditations, and her knowledge. How she puts these retreats together from where we stay, it all has a story behind it, the historic places we have gone with her and Bram, her extraordinary husband that is a walking book of history. They really take the time to scout out places for us to explore and people we meet. I also did a retreat in January of this year to India. We stayed in 2 parts of India that we were able to explore the culture and food. Now I’ll be going with my daughter and friend to Africa

So if this doesn’t say 3 retreats later that it’s a MUST to go. You will have an opportunity to have a one on one with her in your journey. One off the bucket list!

I recently joined Angela and Bram on their retreat to Rajasthan, India.  The entire experience was simply amazing and so well put together. The combination of culture, sights, food, yoga and friends was more than we could have ever imagined. Bram's ability to share his experience and knowledge of India's history made the sightseeing and meals so much more engaging than they would have been without him. Angela's beautiful energy and open heart tied our group together with daily outdoor meditations and yoga. This was a deeply spiritual time of both internal reflection and connection to new friends that I will never forget. I cannot recommend Shared Pilgrimage enough for anyone looking to experience a truly immersive retreat with an opportunity to experience the world in a unique and heart opening way.

Having been on multiple trips over the last six years with Angela and then with Angela and Bram, it is a privilege to recommend "Shared Pilgrimage" for your travel adventures.   Immersively experiencing culture is my passion.  Angela and Bram are a professional team that supports you with empathy and knowledge from the early planning stages through a myriad of cultural rhythms and routines,  all curated by Shared Pilgrimage’s  years of experience leading tours for educators, students, and yoga enthusiasts.

The daily yoga classes leave you feeling grounded and peaceful as you fully embrace the culture, faiths, enduring artistry, and of course authentic locally sourced cuisine with a group of like-minded travelers.

Memories. Visiting an ancient temple in Kochi,  participating in morning meditation and yoga by the Arabian Sea, bartering in the souks of Marrakech,  laughing with new friends as the sun sets over the Agafay desert in Morocco, are memories  I hold dear. Transformed. Enlightened. The world is vast and yet interconnected. When traveling with “Shared Pilgrimage” I am reminded of the quote from young Anne Frank, " We all live with the objective of being happy; our lives are all different and yet the same."
